Bristol Ensemble’s Summer Serenade

With the weather looking uncertain for Wednesday, we’ve made the call to move our hotly anticipated evening with Bristol Ensemble into St Andrew’s Church, Chew Magna.

Treasure in Plain Sight – Community Writing Invitation

Valley Arts, in partnership with South West Heritage Trust, is collecting a new kind of hoard for the Chew Valley Hoard Project: a hoard of stories, poems and memories.

Inspired by the silver coins buried in a Chew Valley field nearly a thousand years ago, we’re asking: What are the treasures in your life that might look ordinary to others, but mean everything to you?

“A Play in a Week” Youth Theatre Summer Camp

Monday 10th & Friday 14th August 2026 – 10am – 4pm

Our fabulous “A Play in a Week” Youth Theatre Summer Camp is back!

Throughout the week they will learn a range of theatre skills, including improvisation, storytelling and devising, in order to create their own play from scratch, which they will then perform to an audience on the final day!

Macbeth – HandleBards

Wednesday 1st July – 7pm

Forget the tears and tragedy, our Macbeth is chock full of mishaps, mayhem and mirth.

Join the Handlebards for a hilariously high-octane production of Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’ like you’ve never seen before.
