The Magic Flute – Opera in a Box

With live music and the full array of Carroll’s fantastical characters, this lively new version follows Alice’s adventures in the looking-glass world she enters through the mirror above her drawing-room fireplace…..
A Play in a Week Summer Camp

Our fabulous “A Play in a Week” Youth Theatre Summer Camp is back!
Unleash your creativity and join us for an exciting week of theatre-making! In just five days, guided by our friendly and experienced tutors, participants will collaborate to create their very own play, to be performed at the end of the week.
The Merry Wives of Windsor – Illyria

Join the sensational international-award-winning Illyria this summer for a night of laughter and hijinks under the stars
Performed in the great outdoors by five phenomenal professional actors, this fast-paced production has been created using only the First Folio text – the most authoritative edition of Shakespeare’s plays.
Jazz Jam

Come and jam with our Valley Arts House Band.
Audience, singers and instrumentalists all equally welcome. Performers can join front line or rhythm section. Play solo or with a friend or two, the trio will get behind you.
Adult Performance Company

Fancy having a go at acting in a safe space with other people?
We will be working on Splendid Productions version of ‘The Government Inspector’. This play is a creative adaptation of Nikolai Gogal’s satirical work and an escalating masterclass in political farce. It is designed for 3 or more people with opportunity for multi rolling so you can have as big or small a part (or parts) as you like.
High & Dry
Friday 26th September 2025 – 7.30pm
Think Fishermen’s Friends but with cider
The premier local shanty group with members based in the Mendip Hills and Chew Valley. Established more than ten years, the group sing a range of traditional shanties and songs of the sea, and regularly perform at shanty festivals round the south west.
