Steve Tilston is a dazzling guitarist drawing from folk, blues, jazz and classical to create a sound that is recognisably Tilston.

Circus Calamitous

Sunday 17th May 2026 – 3pm

The ‘World’s Greatest Showman’ (his words) Rex Bartholomew brings his internationally- renowned award-winning world-famous circus to the grandest of venues.

There’s mishaps, squirting water, custard pies, audience participation and a cameo from the only member of the circus troupe that remained on site…..Leslie the Lion.

Where Is Mrs Christie?

Saturday 30th May 2026 – 4pm

Agatha Christie was at the centre of a mystery as perplexing as any of her fiction, a series of events which sparked one of the biggest and most extensive police hunts in history.

Actor Liz Grand presents her one-woman show ‘Where Is Mrs Christie?’ Did she suffer from amnesia? Was it a publicity stunt? Or was there a darker secret involved? In true thriller style, all will be revealed.

Bristol Ensemble’s Summer Serenade

Wednesday 10th June – 7.30pm

Bristol Ensemble return to the valley this summer for a special outdoor concert on the paddock next to Chew Magna Cricket Ground.

An enchanting concert of Baroque music inspired by the beauty of the natural world. Featuring vibrant works by Vivaldi, Bach, and Handel, capturing the sound of birdsong, flowing water, and pastoral calm through music of elegance and brilliance.

Pirates of Penzance – Opera in a Box

Celebrated for its sparkling score and razor-sharp wordplay, the operetta delights in its own absurdity while delivering one memorable tune after another.
