Yara in the Wild Wood

Front Room WsM

Sunday 11th October – 2.30pm

Compton Martin Village Hall, Compton Martin

Yara is wild and free, but there’s more to these woods than the trees.

An endearing tale of growing up, getting wiser and making unexpected friends.

Yara lives wild in the woods. She doesn’t need anyone else. But there’s something out there, prowling in the shadows and howling at the moon. And if that wasn’t enough, finding food and keeping warm is getting harder every day.

Yara must face up to new challenges, and maybe even the prospect of looking after more than just herself…

Front Room WsM offers a tale of friendship and adventure for all the family, featuring captivating puppetry, exquisite non-verbal storytelling, and spellbinding original music. Come into the woods and explore your wild side with Yara!

Yara in the Wild Wood – FREE workshop at 11am – 1pm

Alongside our show, Yara in the Wild Wood, Front Room WsM will be running a puppetry workshop for children and their families. We’ll be getting creative with natural materials, and embracing our inner storytellers to perhaps tell some brand new stories together. Come join us!
