The Arian Flute Trio
Sunday 8th May 2022 – 3pm
Join us for an uplifting programme of classic baroque melodies paired with modern works inspired by birdsong and Celtic sounds. The first in our Sunday afternoon concert series, we have partnered with St Andrews Church, Chew Stoke to bring you a new classical programme. Tea, coffee and cake will follow the performance and there will be a retiring collection for the church.
The Arian Flute Trio have been playing together since their first year studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2018. Now in their final year of undergraduate studies, they have performed in a variety of venues across South Wales including St David’s Hall and the Wales Millennium Centre. They enjoy exploring a variety of genres from quintessential baroque trios to quirky modern works.
As well as performing, the trio are passionate about educational outreach and enjoy showcasing this lesser known ensemble in the community. In February 2020, they were the artist-in-residence at Arts Active’s Young Composers Scheme.
