Music for Miniatures
Thursday 16th October – 10.30am
Chew Magna Baptist Church, Chew Magna
Join us for a delightful concert where flute and guitar come together to perform beautiful music inspired by birds—ideal for babies, toddlers, and their grown-ups!
This relaxed, welcoming performance is designed especially with little ones in mind.
There’s no need to sit still, crawling, dancing, wriggling, jiggling, babbling, and even napping are all perfectly welcome. We understand that young children have their own rhythms, and that’s exactly what makes these concerts so special.

Attending an event with small children can sometimes feel intimidating, but we’ve created a space where families can feel completely at ease. Music for Miniatures concerts are informal, friendly, and tailored for families with babies and young children.
Babies can feed, toddlers can explore, and older siblings are invited to join in the fun too. Our professional musicians genuinely enjoy performing for young audiences and embrace the joyful energy children bring, it’s all part of the unique, uplifting experience!

We want everyone to have the best experience possible, so we only have two rules at our concerts:
1. For the adults – please don’t talk during the concert.
You are your child’s best listening role model. If you listen well, they will learn to listen well too, and they’ll also learn to respect the musicians. Plus, adult chatter adds to the noise and makes it harder for others to enjoy the music. We’re all about encouraging good listening skills from the very beginning.
2. For the children – no running!
You’ve come to experience a concert – we’re not soft play! Running is noisy and distracting for both musicians and the audience. Most importantly, our scarves are a major slip hazard. We want everyone to stay safe and enjoy the music.
