Pull on your dancing boots and join us for an evening of music, laughter and countryside fun at our Harvest Hoedown Barn Dance!
This year we’re making the Hoedown even more family-friendly, welcoming everyone from 7 to 107. Whether you’re a seasoned ceilidh dancer or have never tried a do-si-do before, the friendly caller will have everyone up on their feet. No experience needed, just come along and enjoy yourself!
We’ll be dancing to the fantastic live music of local favourites Squeeze Fiddle Pluck, whose lively mix of traditional tunes and infectious energy is guaranteed to get the whole family moving. From circles and reels to plenty of laughter along the way, it’s an evening that’s all about bringing people together, making memories and celebrating our wonderful community. A licensed bar will be open throughout the evening for refreshments.

The dancing takes place in the Harvest Home marquee on grass, so please wear suitable footwear. Parking is available on site. As it will be dark when you leave, we recommend bringing a torch or head torch to help you find your way back to your car.
Doors open at 7.30pm, with dancing beginning shortly afterwards.
The Harvest Hoedown is a fundraising event for Valley Arts, helping us bring more fantastic arts and community events to the valley throughout the year. So gather your family, invite your friends, and join us for a joyful evening of music, dancing and harvest-time celebration!
