Big Laughs! Brilliant Comedians! One Unmissable Night!

Get ready for an evening of great live comedy as Valley Arts brings a pop-up comedy night to the Waldegrave in East Harptree.

Leading the laughs is headliner Mark Hurman, winner of Standup for Cider, Literally Shepton and the Smoke and Mirrors Gong Show, and heard on BBC Speechbubble. Described by Wombat Comedy as “instantly charming, hilarious and quirky”, Mark brings a sharp, playful style and plenty of laughs to the Chew Valley.

Opening the evening is Jess Lo, one of the fastest rising stars of the Southwest comedy circuit. A finalist in both the British Comedy Guide and Bristol Comedy Festival competitions, Jess is a comedian with plenty to say and a talent for delivering it with energy and wit.

Keeping everything moving is MC Greg Winfield, who has written for the BBC’s Mock the Week and Comedy Central’s Roast Battle. His online comedy clips have racked up more than 40 million views, while Matt Lucas describes him simply as “Genius”.
